Out Of My Mind by Sharon M. Draper is about a girl named Melody who has cerebral palsy.   Melody has a photographic memory and every word she hears sticks in her head-but she can't talk!!! When she finally does have a voice,  everyone is blown away-but not everybody is impressed. This book is realisitic fiction that takes place in modern day. This book can change the way you think of disabled people forever. MF
