Maximum Ride by James Patterson

It is about a girl named Max who has wings, and at the beginning she gets thrown into a cage for testing.  She escapes from the cage with her 6 friends.  They all flew to New York. Angel,  one of Max's friends,  said she heard that her mother was in New York.  Now they are looking for her mom! PY
